The Pacifica GT800 Potter's wheel is a heavier duty version of the GT400. It features a more powerful 1/2 HP motor with an extra smooth foot pedal. It includes the 2-piece splash pan and features a 13" reversible wheel head. The motor powers the head via a v-belt with tensioner.			State-of-the-art control box -- Features a "forward/reverse" switch for changing wheel direction with the touch of a finger. All-steel construction -- for strength, durability and rigidity Electronic speed controls -- assures maximum torque and smooth response Automatic belt tensioning -- keeps the 4-groove poly-v drive belt tight for maximum performance Permanent magnet DC motor -- provides dependable, variable speed control Powerful, cast aluminum foot pedal -- offers smooth control and speed range of 0-240 rpm Wheel head -- Cast aluminum, 13" diameter, with two bat pin holes (pins included)

Pacifica GT800 - (3 out of 5 stars) - Similar form factor as Brent C. Very smooth aluminum pedal. Has a 1.0 HP belt driven motor and a steel frame with plastic table cover and drip edge (similar to Brent C). The wheel head is 1" smaller at 13" but it is also aluminum. The Pacifica is a good, stable, and quiet machine. Brent Model C - (5 out of 5 stars) - Traditional 3 legged design with solid steel construction and ample plastic covered drip surfaces. Industry leading splash pan simply will not leak. Modular control allows for reversal at the flip of a switch. V-belt drive with automatic tensioner keeps eliminates belt play. 14 " cast aluminum wheel head on double row ball bearings is 1" larger than that of Pacifica wheels. Large, heavy duty DC motor and control. A solid, quiet, and reliable wheel with a long heritage of quality and performance. Shimpo VL Whisper - (3 out of 5 stars) - Similar form factor to the Pacifica, though slightly shorter. Wheel head is 14" as on Brent C. The VL Whisper uses a direct drive DC motor. The Pacifica uses a belt driven DC motor. Both the Pacifica and the Shimpo have speed reversing switches and are very quiet. Both have cast aluminum pedals.
